The list of supplies you need is:
I wanted to make this super easy on myself so I simply used the board that comes in the frame after removing the glass.
Lay your black felt on your board and cut to the edge so there is no overlap. A pair of scissors worked fine for me, but you can also use an exacto knife. Depending on your size of frame, as well as your size of felt sheet, you may have to use two to cover your space. Don’t worry because the seam will not be noticeable once finished.
Once you have your felt prepped and sized, you are then going to adhere it to cover one side of your board. Be sure to smooth out any bubbles to create a good finish.
Once you have finished adhering your felt and it has dried, then assemble your frame with the black side of your backing facing inside the frame along with the glass and it is ready to hang and use!
For writing on your new menu board, a chalk marker is called for. It is extremely easy to wipe down – just a little Windex and paper towels will do the trick. A great look to add some character to your kitchen!
