There is nothing better than whipping up a delicious dish that will be a favorite among guests, but also takes no time at all for you. Today I am sharing this delicious goat cheese and herb spread appetizer. A little goes a long way with it and it’s a bite that is packed with flavor. Yours guests will absolutely be asking for the recipe so let me walk you through it.
You will want to start out with combining 8 ounces of goat cheese, chopped chives, chopped dill and minced garlic into a bowl.
This is a recipe that you simply eyeball the amount of your ingredients. I use a fairly large amount of chives, a large pinch of dill (not too much) and then two cloves of garlic.
Once I have everything added to the bowl, I also add a splash of milk to make it easier to mix and allow it to soften a bit.
You then want to simply serve with toasted baguette slices. I like to pick up a sourdough baguette from our store bakery and then I simply slice it up, place them on a cooking sheet and set in the oven under high broil for a few minutes. Then assemble and serve!
