We love family movie nights in our home. It’s one of our favorite nights of the week. This time of year though? We take it to the next level. A fun dessert charcuterie board and fall family movie nights?! I’m smiling so big it looks like I slept with a hanger in my mouth – wink! I just can’t help it. One of the best parts about these family traditions is the thought of my own children enjoying these exact same memories with their own one day. It’s these details, memories, and traditions of their childhood that I hope they look back fondly on. Because goodness gracious, I will be.
So let’s start with the dessert charcuterie board – how fun, right?! We go for a salty and sweet type of thing. Remember that s’mores dip recipe I shared earlier in the week? It was all for a reason because that is the main event for this board.
I’m a sucker for chocolate covered bananas so those are a must for the board because I love dipping them in the chocolate part of the s’mores dip. Along with freshly popped popcorn, pretzels (plain and chocolate-covered), waffle cookies, and graham crackers of course.
You could add cookies, nuts, fruit – anything your family enjoys! As I have shared before with previous recipes, I love desserts and dishes that bring the whole family together. It makes our movie nights so fun!
And who can resist all of the holiday movies? Our family worked on collecting our favorite fall flicks for you and your family to enjoy too! Here are the ones that made the cut:
Have one that you love? Leave it for me below because we have plenty of time left in October to enjoy them!
