To the man who works late hours, comes home when everyone is already asleep and still wakes up the next day ready to play. To the man who ties shoes, wipes faces and finds matching socks for little feet. To the man who wipes tears, bandages scraped knees and gets little ones laughing again. To the man who teaches how to tie a tie, throw a football and jump rope. To the man who packs lunches, handles school pick up and helps with math homework. To the man who wakes up pushed to the side of the bed by little ones with stinky feet. To the man who combs out tangles, kisses and cuddles and reads bedtime stories. To the man who is showing his boys how to be gentlemen and showing his daughters how they deserve to be treated.
Happy Father’s Day, my love. You are our entire world and then some. And Happy Father’s Day to all of the father figures out there!
