Jowling. International name for shaking your head so fast it distorts your face. Today, however, we are doing it canine style. We’ve all seen them, right? The hilarious high speed photos of dogs shaking water off? Ears and lips flying and those crazy eyes? My husband and kiddos were in the backyard giving our Major a bath the other night and I took the opportunity to finally add them to our personal collection. Because who doesn’t want to see their fur baby look like this? #AmIRight.

And for those interested, these were shot with a 35mm lens at an aperture of 1.6, shutter speed of 1/400 and an ISO of 125. I simply set my shooting mode to burst mode, locked my focus on Major’s face and then held the shutter button down when he began to shake and held it down the entire time. This way you get that action sequence instead of single shots. Have fun!
