Another week down, another week to go of this pandemic madness. And another Casual Friday around here! I don’t know about you, but I feel like my winter blues extended into spring blues because of quarantine. I have had really high ups and really low lows. I don’t think the realization of tiny living for another year helped matters much. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, but not to worry because… CARBS. If you keep up with my daily musings on Instagram you will know that we have been baking fresh bread almost on the daily with no signs of slowing down. Bless my hips for them to be strong and resolute. Wink!

Upcoming home DIY project

There are always a million and one things to get to, but I am itching for a good DIY. Our farmhouse headboard project from a few years back has gone a bit viral and while I was making updates to the post the other day, I was like… man! I need to get my hands dirty with a good DIY! So, we are going to tackle an entryway table and here are my inspiration pieces for it:

What projects are you tackling while staying home?

Favorite photograph of the week

I’m so glad we found the time to get out of the house this week and visit our favorite place. Jarett has had a busier schedule the past few weeks so our outdoor adventures were few and far between. However, this week we made time for it and it was something I needed so much. The fact that this is in our own backyard still blows my mind. The weather has been incredible, everything is blooming, and while I thought nothing would compare to the smell of orange blossoms from back in the Arizona desert this time of year, the smell of magnolia is quickly becoming a strong contender.

Feeling down a bit? Get outside and in nature. It heals the soul.

How is the weather at your house?

Something exciting for us to do together

Please forgive me ahead of time as I am about to be extremely vague in the most annoying of ways, but I am so thrilled to tell you that I am putting final details together for something that you and I are going to tackle together. It all is going to take place next week and it has to do with documenting this time that we are in right now. Something that is so extremely important and that we should all make the time for. So be sure and stay tuned and if you do not already subscribe to my email list, be sure and join for free right here so you can get all the latest right in your inbox!

Something to make you laugh

Can we all agree that this has basically been our lives for the past two months? Gave us a good laugh here at our house which is always appreciated. Wink!

If you made it this far, thank you for being a friend here! Wishing you an absolutely beautiful weekend!
