Every year I try and pull together fresh Spring styles for my family to wear on Easter Sunday. And with every annual tradition such as this, I am always looking to purchase wardrobe pieces that can be worn again without it feeling out of place. For example, Christmas dresses are something I want my girls to be able to wear well into February and again in the colder months of fall. With five kids, I am always looking at ways to stretch our wardrobes in order to justify buying new outfits for the major holidays. With that, I thought you might find it helpful to see what I have found in my own search so I wanted to share my five Easter Sunday styles for Mom and daughter that I absolutely loving!
With my family, I like to color coordinate between all seven of us, but we don’t really care for matching. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s darling when I see mothers and daughters with the exact same look on. It just doesn’t happen to be our personality is all. And my girls and I prefer a more neutral and classic approach to our clothing picks so you won’t see a lot of florals or colors from what I share below – fair warning! Luckily for us kind of gals though, it seems like the stores are full of good finds which doesn’t always seem to be the case each season I feel like. Anyone else? Anyway, keep scrolling to catch what I have been shopping for me and my girls and I hope you find something you like as well!
This first skirt I am swooning over. It’s a seersucker skirt from H&M and under $40. The bow detail is perfect and stripes are always a good idea, but the thing I love most is it’s that classic and casual style. You can dress it up and dress it down. I would pair it with the open-neck t-shirt from J.Crew Factory. This is a staple in my closet and under $20. The best part? The longer sleeve which I think gives a dressier look to your normal tee. And I think I would pair it with a cognac wedge just to add some pop to it. I loved these from Target and definitely reasonably priced for under $30.
I’m telling you, H&M is really killing it right now with their options for not only stylish and trendy things but modest as well. I love this cotton satin shirt dress they have and paired with these pointed mules for only $24.99 I think it’s a great look and effortless look.
You know how I love my chambray shirts, right? I have four in my closet with no sign of slowing down the collection. The idea of this linen wrap skirt from Gap paired with a denim button-down blouse and a pair of Jessica Simpson nude heels? Yes, please! And if you haven’t tried her shoes, you really should. I love her stilettos. Made just right!
I seriously cannot get enough of the seersucker look this time of year. Is anyone else addicted to that classic preppy look? This tie-waist shirt dress from J.Crew Factory is so well priced at under $50. And then a simple pair of t-strap sandals – casual, stylish and can be worn well into the summer.
Another stunning skirt from H&M. I would pair this pleated number with a crisp white button-down blouse and then finish it off with a statement heel like these floral ones from Macy’s. I actually have a pair of GUESS floral stilettos and still love them. As much as I am a neutrals girl, who can resist a good statement piece, right?
I adore a simple white lace dress for spring and this one is from H&M for only $15. It comes in multiple colors and the sizes for it range from 1.5 years up to 10 years old. I would pair it with this navy blue cardigan also from H&M along with these darling ballet flats with the perfect season theme. I think this ties in perfectly with Mom’s No.01 look as well.
This utility shirt dress from Old Navy is absolutely darling and I actually picked this one up as well as the olive one for Blair. Right now they are on sale with Old Navy’s 40% off event. And then paired with these darling ruffle sandals from Target! I picked those up in both the gold and white.
And yes, Miss Blair asked if she could be a part of this particular blog post since, you know, she already had the outfit! And because fashion is right up her alley – ha! But seriously… how could I ever say no to THIS?!
H&M has this darling eyelet white skirt for the older girls and I think paired with this chambray tunic and these cognac sandals from the Cat & Jack line at Target would be darling.
This denim shirt dress is perfect to carry into other seasons by switching out sandals and wedges with boots for her. For spring, I would grab these Nine West wedge sandals on Amazon.
I can’t get enough of the denim and white look apparently! It just feels so fresh and youthful, you know? The older girls have an option of a white lace dress as well at H&M and I would pair it with a denim jacket. This is the one I grabbed for Blake at Old Navy. And then the white ruffle sandals from Target for only $9.99.
So there is the roundup and my favorite five Easter Sunday styles for Mom and daughter. It’s going to be here before we know it! I have the girls outfits handled, but I will be heading out and trying to choose (I think) between look one and five that I shared above.
Have you already gathered your Easter Sunday looks? Do you have a family tradition you enjoy for the holiday weekend?
