Nothing overly glamorous for August, but I consider these staples in my life as of right now and I promise they are great finds. Hope you enjoy this month’s round up and my latest finds and obsessions for August!
Greenroom Notebook by Target. If you know me at all, you know that I have a unique, but simple system for keeping track of everything I need to get done as well as my daily schedule. And I am never without this notebook. I discovered it the year before last and have never looked back. I’m always worried it will be discontinued, so each time at Target I actually grab a new one and stash them in my studio. Can we really consider that hoarding when it has to do with organization? Wink! I love that it is thin with a smaller ring because the thicker ring binds make it hard to write sometimes when you get to the edge of your page. And it may be thin, but it comes with plenty of paper and I love that the lined paper is more college-ruled style. The cover is a faux leather and I snag it in either black or brown when it’s on the shelf. You can catch it for yourself right here.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes. This one has been an obsession for several years. I remember when I was younger I would watch my mom and older sister remove their makeup and it seemed like SUCH a process with several steps. And I have to say, as an adult, I don’t have the best habits when it comes to cleaning my face at night. So when I came across these a few years back I decided it had to be the right fit. I love that it cleans as well as removes makeup so there is no need to rinse afterward. I simply just use my facial scrub in the shower in the AM. There’s no greasy feeling after using these at night and I have noticed that I never really have blemishes or breakouts. Catch them right here.
Liz Lange Maternity Jeans. Honest? I have never purchased maternity jeans with any of my other pregnancies. I’m the girl that would simply wear my jeans I already had and, when the time came, leave them unbuttoned and kept together with a hair tie (please leave a comment if I am not the only one who has done this). Anyway, this pregnancy I finally decided to give some a try and I immediately fell in love with these skinny style ones with added distressing. I have literally lived in them this entire pregnancy. I love that they have a light feel and they don’t look like maternity jeans. Very stylish and very comfortable. Check them out here.
E.L.F. Lip Exfoliator. This has been another staple for me for the past year or so. I love that this helps remove chapped skin on my lips in an easy way for a smooth finish when wearing lipstick or gloss. And with all of the E.L.F. cosmetics, the price is ridiculous reasonable at $3 at your local Target. I wasn’t able to find a single pack, but if you prefer Amazon shopping, here is the link for you.
I hope you find something that you love as well and I will be sharing another handful of my favorite things next month! P.S. If you missed July, you can catch them here!
