Nothing beats a good exfoliation… you know what I mean? Especially when it helps to sluff off the layers of winter and that dead and dry skin. It is so refreshing! I wanted to share with you my recipe for an all-natural homemade salt body scrub that you are going to love!
Unlike sugar scrubs, salt scrubs are a bit more intensifying and give a deeper exfoliation. Salt has detoxifying benefits while helping to increase circulation in the body. It also absorbs dirt, grime, and toxins and gives the pores a deep cleanse.
This pink salt body scrub is super easy to make and the amount it creates will allow you to use it several times over. Because of how messy it can be, I love using it in the shower (or if you are a bath lover that works great too) and I do use it both for my body as well as my face. The different oils used in this recipe are so incredibly moisturizing and gives your skin a major boost. You will be shocked at just how good your skin feels after using it!
*A personal note: You can find salt in both a fine or coarse finish. I would suggest using a fine salt for both your sea salt and pink Himalayan. Because coarse grains are much larger, like miniature rocks. Ouch!
I love purchasing my ingredients in larger amounts so I can have them on hand to make other beauty and skin recipes as needed. If you want to shop my same supplies, I have everything added to my Amazon affiliate page for you and you can find each ingredient here:

You will want to find a way to store your scrub so it doesn’t dry out. I am using a simple flip-top Ball jar I found at Target. It does have a seal on the lid that helps to keep the scrub from getting dry for a little while.
Using a mixing bowl, you will want to add:
Voila! A wonderful all-natural and homemade salt body scrub. For mine, I used 10 drops of Orange and 10 drops of Grapefruit for a sweet citrus scent and it smells divine! So refreshing!
