Ahh, the autumn season. While we are still waiting for legitimate weather here in the desert for things to really feel official, I have been plenty happy to begin browsing and collecting a few items for my shopping list to add to my wardrobe for the season. I’m sure many of you out there are doing the same so I thought I would share my favorite sweater and cardigan styles for Fall.

I’m usually not one to ride the trend wagon very often when it comes to my style and wardrobe choices. However, one that I have been head over heels for is this ruffle look that we are seeing. So feminine and perfect for the season, but it still provides a classic feel.

And I have absolutely been on the lookout for pieces that will give me some help in hiding the tummy leftover from pregnancy. This tie front sweatshirt would be perfect for that and I love the casual feel of it to add a pair of jeans to and some sneakers.

Another great look for moms following pregnancy – that cross in the front with the room at the bottom gives it such a comfortable fit so you don’t have to feel like you have to constantly sucking in all of the “mom stuff”!

I can never resist a slouchy sweater for those lazy and chilly fall days. And this color? Perfect for the season!

And for some reason, Fall makes me crave a preppy look and feel to my wardrobe. My go-to spot to score some great classic looks is Abercrombie & Fitch. This sweater comes in several colors, but navy makes me weak in the knees!

Alright, onto the open front sweater and cardigan look. I probably own too many cardigans and button front sweaters, but I feel like they are so versatile and easy when you can simply add a comfortable tank or boyfriend tee underneath. Easy, quick and stylish!

A light and easy look that can be dressed up or dressed down. And I love this option for when the Arizona weather is still trying to catch up with everyone else. The added layer isn’t too thick.
