Summer gatherings mean good conversation and good food that is light and fresh. These antipasto skewers are the perfect and easy option! There are a lot of variations out there, but we like to keep things high in protein and light on carbs, and gluten-free in our home.
Simply assemble your skewers with all of your fresh ingredients. For the salami, I simply fold them twice over and then add them to the skewer.
As for the basil leaves, they are the perfect addition to the overall flavor or you can add them simply as a garnish – either way, they add the most incredible fresh smell to these skewers!
I love using a marble cake stand or a white platter to display so those colors are really able to pop!
These are always a big hit and fair warning – they will go fast! If you prefer even more added flavor, you can drizzle a balsamic glaze over them. However, I love the fact that these are so easy to handle as they are when at a gathering. No mess!
