I will always be the first to say that I am not a whiz in the kitchen. No one will ever mistake me for a baker and sometimes I even mess up on boxed mashed potatoes. #TrueStory. However, I have grown a collection of fool proof recipes that not only taste amazing, but as always, are kid approved because we all know how hard life is with picky eaters. So I wanted to make sure and introduce you to my perfect party meatballs. Well, technically they aren’t mine. My wonderful grandmother used to make these every Christmas Eve for our big family party and it has since become the recipe I handle for that same party. I don’t think you have ever seen as easy a recipe as this one is. This is my little family’s go-to appetizer for get-togethers and I am sharing this just in time for Super Bowl Sunday so keep scrolling and grab your grocery list!

I don’t think there is another pair of words that roll off the tongue as beautifully as ‘Crock-Pot’. Okay, I was reaching on making that sound beautiful, but to all of my fellow moms out there I know you get me on this one. So pull yours out and then simply add one full size bag of frozen meatballs. Make sure they are the original or beef type. These just don’t taste the same with Italian style meatballs. Then you are going to add one whole jar of Heinz Chili Sauce.

Next comes 1 1/2 cups of grape jelly (I use Welch’s) and you are simply going to want to stir everything until it is well mixed.

Once that is done, simply cover your meatballs and set your Crock-Pot to low for 4 hours.

Are you ready for this? That’s it. You’re done. As soon as they hit 4 hours, simply plate them as you like or serve them straight from the Crock-Pot – whichever the style of the party calls for. They go fast too so we usually double our recipe to make sure we aren’t those guests who didn’t bring enough to keep people happy.
