Fifteen years as a creative entrepreneur. From commercial and lifestyle photographer, to visual director of a product company, to a graphic designer and branding strategist. The constant through it all? Blogging. I have shared the story all along the way as I has pivoted among the seasons of motherhood and family life. And I am so grateful to have found a sweet spot. Creating beautiful content that I hope inspires you in living simple and making it beautiful.

There has always been another constant, however, and that is the questions I get from fellow business owners, professional creatives, and those wanting to go after creative pursuits they have had on their hearts for some time. The questions range from “How do I take better pictures for my content” to “How important is my branding to start really building my business” all the way to “How do I build something as you have”. I am so excited to share a new, somewhat refreshed area of what I do here at KaraLayne.com and it involves you and I getting to get our hands dirty in what drives us to do what we do. The Inside Layne

The Inside Layne was started as a way for me to share my knowledge with other fellow small business owners and creative entrepreneurs. Through this monthly email, I have had the honor of connecting with thousands of passionate people are working hard to build a brand that elevates. This email is filled with business advice, tips, and so much more and is the only place where I really open the floodgates to everything I know and how I have built my own brand. Titled the ‘Inside Layne’ because my hope is that, through it, you can take a faster route to get to your destination. Branding and Design

I’m thrilled to announce that I am getting my hands dirty once again in designing incredible visuals for fellow small businesses. Whether it is a brand identity suite or building out a unique space online that you have been craving for your business, I will be opening up my schedule for only a few select clients for 2023. I will be available for logo and brand identity design, custom website development, as well as creative direction for things like an upcoming marketing campaign or perhaps new packaging for your products.
