For those of you who might be new, Style Sunday is a when I can get to it weekly blog feature that involves all things style outside of what I call my “job”. Some of it’s fashion, other times it is a DIY project – anything style and life you will find it here.

Today’s edition? The leather jacket. An iconic piece of American fashion for sure and one that I am kind of really loving right now. When I see it I can’t help but think of the automatic “cool factor”. As if I would suddenly possess superhuman power while donning one and kick some major tail even in stilettos. Very James-Dean-Rebel-Without-A-Cause-type coolness, you know? Even though we are experiencing triple-digit weather here on the surface of the sun in the Arizona desert, and will be for a while longer, it hasn’t stopped me from looking ahead to the cooler months and the wardrobe additions that will be needed. A leather jacket is for sure on my list for this year and here are a few looks I’m loving right now…
