Oh, this summer. It has brought me the most magic and the most change in my life that I have ever experienced. Pure magic in the most monumental and mundane of ways. Our everyday life will soon look completely different (more of this to come in the very near future) and I find myself in a state of bittersweetness. That word seems to be a recurring theme in my tales of motherhood, but is there any other that so completely portrays the emotions of motherhood in just a handful of letters? With these changes that we are embarking on, I have found myself holding so tight to the moments I have with Jarett and the kids before it all changes. In the most simple moments that we currently find ourselves immersed in, I find my eyes wide open to the magic that is held within them. The magic that is held within all of our moments as parents watching our children grow up. From our daily evening walks to movie nights spent on mattresses in our still-empty living room. Give me all the summer memories. Because I know in my heart of hearts I am going to miss this…
