Over here I am just sitting in a huge pool of denial that we are already to the end of March. Like, how did this happen?! I felt like we had so much time, but we are on the home stretch of temporary living and will be in Tennessee before we know it! All the feels from my corner of the Universe. Enough about that, though… I am sharing my latest finds and obsessions for March and I think you are really going to love them too!
As a reminder, this monthly roundup is not sponsored. They are simply things I have stumbled upon and would feel guilty not sharing them with you.
First up is something that I have talked about before, but I continue to get asked about them so I wanted to make sure and include them in this month’s bundle. They are the Ardell Magnetic Accents faux lashes. Friend, I am not kidding – these babies are FANTASTIC.
Now, I know what you might be thinking if you have tried magnetic faux lashes before. And I promise you, these are so much easier to work with. I have done magnetic sets before, but it was the full lash. Those are so hard to get one with so many magnets having to line up. However, these are “accents” and only act as half of your lash.
Since finding out about them, I swear Ardell raised the price to keep up with demand, but I don’t blame them. And even at $10-$12 per set, I still think they are well worth it. Especially since you can push them about a month if you treat them right.
I shared a tutorial over on my Instagram and you can catch it in the “girl talk” highlight. I walk you through how I apply them and some tips and tricks for making them work. They are lightweight and I don’t even know they are there. Not to mention, they are very natural looking compared to other products out on the market.
Next up is this fabulous button down plaid shirt I found while shopping at American Eagle. Aside from it being the perfect black and white pattern, it is also the SOFTEST thing I have ever felt. Stil lightweight and it has a great length to it. Love, love, love it!
I really do love the Milani brand and I can never resist a good drugstore makeup find that becomes a ride or die. This Prep + Brighten Face Oil is wonderful and I have been using it every morning just after I wash my face and before I put on makeup. It does say that you can also add 1 to 2 drops of it in your liquid foundation for more hydration, but I haven’t tried that yet.
It contains sunflower oil which helps prevent dryness, apricot kernel oil which helps nourish your skin, and crambe Abyssinia oil which is supposed to revive dull skin. And being under $12, it definitely has been added to the top of my list.
These boots were an Amazon find and did not disappoint. I have always worn taller boots because they help to elongate the leg, but I have really been on the lookout for a combat style boot to add to my collection. I saw these and figured I would like them since I have always liked and purchased the Roxy brand.
They are so comfortable and I love that you can wear them up and laces or you can fold them down and even button them into place. The fur lining definitely makes them even cozier. And under $70? Yes please! They also come in two other leather finishes.
This last product is another Milani one and I really, really love it. It’s a primer and after applying that first and then my foundation, I feel like my makeup goes on much smoother. And my skin has a more dewy finish to it. Used sparingly, it’s not greasy at all and again, a great drugstore price point.
As usual and for my fellow Amazon lovers out there, I have all of these items added to my Amazon page so you can find most of them all in one place.
I’m always on the lookout for style finds and great beauty products on the market. Do you have a current favorite or something you can’t live without?
More latest finds and obsessions coming up for next month so stay tuned!
