With the new year and as I shift my focus (closing the doors to my branding and design agency to put all of my heart and energy right here), I am excited to share the business part of my life here and there. Perhaps just once a week or a few times a month, but my hope is that maybe sharing some insight and knowledge that it will help and inspire my fellow women and mothers in business. Those who come here for stories of motherhood, my latest favorite recipe, or how to organize part of your home. My hope is that it is OK with you if I share small parts of the professional side of my life. It’s hard to make adjustments and put yourself out there, especially when pivoting in business and trying to build a beautiful roof to house all of your passions. Sometimes I wonder if I come off more like a hot mess than anything else – wink! But my daily life is all of those things – from consoling a little one, organizing the laundry, and how to take beautiful photos of your family to publishing content and reviewing monthly analytics. So I guess 2020 is going to bring a little more variety and a lot more of, well, me. So today, and for any and all content creators out there reading, I want to share about how to up-level your blogging and get organized with the 2020 Blog Planner.
When I began my career, I used blogging as a tool to share my life with my audience. It was simply a journal. As time went on and as my business grew, it became increasingly obvious just how powerful blogging could be. Whether blogging is your career or if you have made it part of your business and marketing workflow, doing it with a strategy will change the game. A few years ago I found myself wanting to create a tool that helped me further my content creating. I wanted something that would help organize the process. Something to help me in my quest to make blogging a huge part of my business. As a working mom, being efficient and productive with the time I have is so extremely important. And now today, as I pivot in business to put all of my heart into this space here, I am so excited to share more and more of my knowledge when it comes to blogging. And of course, continue growing this valuable tool to help others. So, let’s up-level your blogging and get organized with the 2020 Blog Planner!
The Blog Planner is the most comprehensive tool for bloggers available. I created it out of a need I had for myself years ago after finding nothing on the market that served bloggers. Over the years it has grown and molded into not just a planner, but an educational tool. A guide to help you harness the power of blogging, strategically plan your content, and to stay organized with all of the many tasks a blogger faces.
Something new for 2020 is the fact that the Blog Planner includes both a printable and digital version. This was a HUGE upgrade and one that I am so proud of. For myself, I am using the digital planner for 2020. For those that prefer putting pen to paper, the Blog Planner includes over 56 printable pages. Also included is a monthly outlook, daily editorial outlook, stats and growth tracker, monthly tasks and housekeeping, pages to brainstorm future content, custom planner tabs, and tons more. You can find out more here.
I think the most valuable aspect of the Blog Planner is how much it utilizes and infuses Pinterest into the content creating process. There is a strong emphasis on the power of Pinterest and how to utilize it throughout the planner from guides within the monthly outlook to monthly tasks that will help enhance your presence on the platform. Have you felt that nagging feeling that you need to look into Pinterest more for your business? There are 300+ million users on Pinterest. 93% of active users say they use Pinterest to plan for purchases. And 87% of users say they have purchased a product because of Pinterest. You can get more mind-blowing stats here. The point is, if you are not creating content with a strategy and utilizing Pinterest in that plan then you are losing out on massive growth and cultivating a bigger audience for your product, your service, and your brand.
Hearing from other bloggers who have invested in the Blog Planner, they say the biggest light bulb moment they have experienced is realizing just how powerful planning seasonal content is. I mean, we see it in the stores, the magazines we read – why would we not yield the same consumer power when it comes to our content and when we publish and promote it? When you strategically place content in front of users who are searching for it, numbers will skyrocket as you have never experienced before. I have experienced it in my own business which is why I am so excited to share more and more within this realm.
